Everyone can recognize and understan dozens of Turkish words, but literally none of the Finnish ones. So why would people think we're related again? I mean,sure if you go deep into grammar and such, you can find similarities, no grammatical gender, case system, a few words that are pronounced differently that supposedly were the same, but our languages are way too different to a commoner, it's fair to say. Most Hungarians aren't all that enamored with being related to Finnish. The majority believes we're related and are fine or unhappy about it. There's a sizeable population that thinks we're related to Turks, Huns instead, and Finno ugric theory is a conspiracy to drag us down in the mud.
Also there's a few who religiously believe we're related to the Japanese, Atlantians [insert random ancient civilization here], also ayy lmaos. So even sane Hungarians are exposed to many of these theories on a monthly if not weekly basis. I wish I was making this up, but I'm not.

I know, I just specified what I was thinking about when I said classical musician/composer. I meant no offense. Your country has an amazing educational system, a nice state, but culturally it is pretty bland (inb4 death metal, yes I do realize you have great bands,but that does not constitutes as culture)

Absolutely. But I say, not all cultures are created equal. Native americans used to kill people for their pagan gods. Yes, it's a culture. Doesn't mean it was a good thing.
