In essence you pay for a lot of other people if you take care of yourself and have a job. If you are a normal, semi-succesful person in Finland you are a mule pulling the rest of the plebeians, immigrants and alkies forward.

I am part socialist but foremost a pragmaticist. I believe we should give every Finnish citizen an equal start for life. Education, health care and so forth until you reach adulthood.

Russia is not much better with the nannying. You have in many other ways a much more regulated economy and social life than Finland.
I support the standard wage if we keep it at a sufficiently low level. That is housing + food. Nothing else.
Because right now it costs a lot to make alcoholics go to courses to get employed(which will not happen) and all this processing and different agencies of this and that doing shit.
There is a whole industry around welfare. That industry is COMPLETELY USELESS and it's paid for with taxpayer money.
That's why I think a basic salary would be good because
A) People will not become magically employed by taking a course how to use windows
B) We can eliminate a lot of useless jobs and free up resources for better things
C) People can start accepting part-time and shitty work too because their welfare won't be affected.
Out of all the proposed systems I think the negative income tax seems the best.
