We use "oн/oнa/oнo" (he/she/it) for all nouns. I can't remember city "oнo" - they're always "he" or "she", but village can be "it".

Some rules in russian are difficult to explain logically. We have a lot of fun of it, sometimes. But with practice you will just feel it. Like every language, i suppose.

Russia is big. Stereotypes about trash, post-apocalyptic atmosphere and drunk gopniks are really close to truth in small cities. Talking about Moscow and Saint Petersburg - I do love life in Russia. Many shit on streets, many shit in minds, everyone tries to look like you doesn't exist, but if you are with friends and you know places, things get really better.
In Petersburg everything reminds about Russian Empire. Dark Russian Empire. We call Petersburg "northern capital", and when it's not rains it snows there. Also every hipster or rebellious teenager wants to live in Spb.
Hey, Russia is fun. It feels like survival horror in fantasy universe. Just have fun of it.
And yes, many guys from Russia here and in another treads whine about bad life. You hardly want to know most of them IRL, believe me anon.
