It's normal. I've tasted it in other countries and it's the same unless you compare it to the US one which is sweeter, same goes for Dr. Pepper light and cherry, ours is a bit less sweeter because we don't like to drink/eat things that are as sweet as, for example, American ones.
I drink Dr. Pepper quite often and it's nice, I also like Orangina(red one) and local beverages.
It's only normal for drinks to taste different and even meals at fast foods to taste different depending on the country.
