I'm starting to learn Japanese on my own.
So far I've memorized ~80% of the katakana and some kanji, with proper stroke order.
The latest one I memorized is haru.
Three horizontal strokes, then two on the vertical, and a small sun kanji below.
Can anybody tell me the difference between a kanji and a ideogram?

How do simple grammar works?

Generally SOV but you can change the order a bit because the function of a word in the sentence is indicated by the particles (が、を, etc) instead of its place in the sentence.
