Been there for one year. Try saunas, they are everywhere, naked but it's fucking worth it. Would go again just for that shit. Finns don't talk. Drink with them. Alcohol expensive. Hot girls, try to get one. Mökki are cool too. Country is comfy as fuck. Food is ok, better than the US one. Try their soups (beets-goat cheese was awesome). Go to Tallinn (cheap booze) and touristic stuff (there is nothing worth seeing in helsinki except maybe the 4 churches, this is a city good to live in, not to visit). Pay for the bus, not the tram and metro, control agents let you leave the wagon before controlling. Syö mämmiä. Happankorppuja are good. voileipä too. try the dried rye bread donut-shaped cut in half. Love that shit. and Koskenkorva is fucking good too.
