I speak Polish. Unless you have family in Poland, plan on being the US ambassador to Poland, or something like that, you're much better off learning a more relevant language. As for it being a waste of time or not, it depends what the alternative is. If you're just going to use this time playing video games otherwise, then in that case, learning any language is a good use of your time. If you are considering using the time to learn a more relevant language, you're definitely wasting your time. Unless you've already gotten far in Polish, in which case it's better to finish what you started.
