Why don't Europeans have showers?
I've recently learned that almost all Europeans have bathtubs instead of showers. Apparently showers are pretty rare over there.
Why?
Because taking baths with your gf is a very nice thing.
They aren't rare
Wut?
Here its rare to have a bathtub.
Where did you get information?
In the Netherlands we have both.

I spent 2 months in Europe and only saw 1 shower, and it was in an American-owned hotel. I actually had to ask for a room with a shower and pay more because it's not the standard.

I didn't go to Finland so you guys must be an exception, but I was told Europe as a whole doesn't use showers.
>>57103442
Stop lying, I spent 10 days in Netherlands and never saw a single shower.
having showers instead of bathtubs is a relatively new trend here, dont know why
>>57103470
Fuck off. Literally every house has a shower. Bathtubs are exceptions since they are unpractical and filthy
>>57103470
Then you shouldn't go to peasant places.
>>57103499
Lel, non-Randstad faggot, everybody here has shower+bathtub.
>not washing yourself with sand
>>57103476
Is the rest of Europe adopting this trend?
When will a huemonkey post their electric showerhead?
>>57103543
balkan countries are making the transition, dont know about the rest of europe
just because we can't fit in a bathtub without getting stuck doesn't mean the rest of the world can't

>>57103510
>haha we totally have showers you guys where did you get the idea we don't have showers
>>57103380
Literally no one here uses bathtubs. Where in Europe do people use those?
>>57103380
Nearly everyone has both
I have to stand in the bath when I use the shower though, is this common anywhere else?
>>57103823
>I have to stand in the bath when I use the shower though, is this common anywhere else?
what the fuck is wrong with britain?
>>57103380
I lived as an exchange student in Southern Europe and all of them had showers. There are even showers at the beaches in Greece and Turkey to clean yourself from the sand.
Rare here to have a tub, must be Central Europe things

>I have to stand in the bath when I use the shower though, is this common anywhere else?
same, the bath is located right below the shower to collect the water from the shower head tbf.
Having both is the most common.

Older or smaller houses here use that system but most modern places will have separate shower and bath or no bath at all.
Swede on vacation in Japan
Almost every apartment I have visited in Sweden have had a bathtub in it, though I imagine that nowadays they are being phased out in favor of showers as to save space
We usually have both.
>>57103380
???
literally every apartment/hotel room in Europe has had a shower.
>>57103380
So corporations like Coca Cola doeant buy out all our water for themselves
>>57103380
>buying into the false dichotomy
>not having a combo
It's the best of both worlds - when you're in a hurry, it works just like a shower (wall mounted and everything), but when you want to relax you can fill it up and it's the best.
>>57103380
That's actually true here.
>>57103380
I have a washing bucket
>>57103380
I liked the "europe doesn't have birds" joke better
>>57103380
Because we can fit in it
>>57103848
Nothing wrong with that desu
>go to Germany for two months
>round bottom bath tubs in nearly all of the hotels
>showering in a round bottom tub
Top to bottom keks
>>57103380
you wot m8
in easter europe EVERYONE own a flat but our square area is pretty small, thus the overwhelming majority of people have showers instead of bathtubs
I'd say the latter is more of an exception than a rule
