I was looking at jobs in Chch, pay is like 10% less than London for my job which is totally worth it for a way better lifestyle imo.

I actually looked at apartments there too and was surprised that it was relatively expensive.
Having said that, I could still get a really nice 1 bedroom apartment for slightly more than I pay for 1 bedroom in a shitty shared flat here. So my cost of living would probably remain the same, but would just be way better.
