Not always, healthy black people (specially the ones with really dark skin) have white tint in their eyes, too. Even some whites have it, too. Check your eyes, you probably have some yellowish tint in them, too.

Yellow in the sclera is almost always a sign of a liver problem. Which means it's birth-inherited or a sign of a severe liver problem.
Jaundice is harder to read with people who have darker pigment until you look at their eyes. Pigment doesn't just suddenly leak into a place that biochemically can't actually contain it, you twat.
