I'm naturally not a corrupt person (unless you count faps). If I can somehow turn out to be righteous then so can other people. I think corruption stems from a lack of empathy for others. Imprinting it from childhood can potentially produce the kind of people you're looking for.

yes, because people actually understand that rules aren't meant to limit people, and that people should live for it. Also there is a reason why most Catholic countries actually won't murder people because it's wrong but actually won't care if you rob a bread or actually break a minor law, because everybody agrees that life exits to be lived and breaking laws are one of the things that make us feel alive kek. It's the empathy for life that makes us break laws and corruption so accepted in society, and people actually identify themselves with other people in that sense kek. The apathy for experiences is what makes people to blindly follow laws like in Switzerland and Nordic countries

Ok so you just don't really understand English too well nor even the concept of empathy.

People will abuse their position in office because they don't care about what affect it has on other people. See: That dude in Egypt who kept billions for himself and let the country crumble; that Ukrainian woman who abused her position to embezzle money for herself; George Bush who invaded an entire country to secure more oil for his pappy's oil business.

Having empathy or caring about how your actions will negatively affect other people is what curbs this kind of corruption.
>>

Into the meme trash it goes
>>
>>56804408
>Ok so you just don't really understand English too well nor even the concept of empathy.
kek, you aren't understanding what I am saying. I am saying that people don't really care that much about having their money stolen or stealing money because there is more to life than it. Sure people will get angry if someone actually monopolizes corruption or fuck everyone for their individual profit, but won't care if they rob money and actually shares with the people or do good things with it. Brazil actually became a BRIC and the 6th while having the biggest corruption scandal of the world, as I said there is more to life than laws and people support the corruption of it for good causes and feel empathy for it because laws aren't supposed to limit people and when breaking laws people experience more and the society actually feel empathy for others that do that, as long as it doesn't fuck everybody.
>>
>>56804408
>Empathy

It's better to have actual accountability than to rely on someone's personal moral code. See the financial crisis you seppos threw onto everyone else.

>people should be allowed to steal money from other people because there is more to life than worrying about your money

I think I see where you're coming from but this not how things work in civilized societies. In order to keep the machine running smoothly, everything needs to be operating as intended. This doesn't work if the people at the top are using the machine to funnel the population's monies directly into their bank accounts.

You're literally saying that life should not be about laws and following them, but rather theft since this is true empathy towards those who need to steal?

"Civilized societies" are literally crumbling right now, and not making babies because they are too autist to do that
>You're literally saying that life should not be about laws and following them, but rather theft since this is true empathy towards those who need to steal?
Not only theft, what I am saying is that to limit the human being to words and laws is literally what causes the humanity decay, breaking laws is what cause humanity to prosper and actually surpass itself. Actually following things for what you really believe and actually living by your own believes not mattering what the society says is what made us so culturally strong and actually able to acommodate anyone into our society, actually doing a bad considered thing will get reprimanded by society and maybe even killed because it is against the society beliefs not mattering the law, and doing a good thing not mattering the law will get you praised by the whole society.
>>

>breaking laws is what cause humanity to prosper and actually surpass itself.
Brazil, I now see why your country is in the state it's in, and why people are treating it like a sinking ship.

I do hope that the game in Rio are a positive thing for your country though. Please do not rape and rob the visiting competitors though due to your theory of anarchy.
>>
>>56805336
>Anarchy
it isn't anarchy m8, our society got our beliefs so strong that most people will not care for laws and actually live for our beliefs, or the society beliefs. In the end it is a much more humane and feeling than simply following some written laws made by some guys that think they know what is right for everyone
Also, Brazil is not for beginners m8

>he doesn't think the same shit happened during the PT years
The economy grew steadily after the Itamar years and the Plano Real because it controlled for inflation, but at a very short pace, even compared to our neighbors. Taxes also grew by 15%, more than in the last 100 years. Now it's all crumbling under it's own weight.
>>
>>56806289
>the way our society seems to not work
Have you ever been to a society that doesn't work at all kek?
>>
>>56806470
I live in one. Try going to a first world country one day. Or even a poor country that adopted a less autistic government, like Chile. Less violence, less corruption. You can open a business there in 15 minutes, and here it takes around a year or so to fill in the paperwork. The Brazilian State is a disaster right now. It could be worse, but it's awful
>>
There is only one surefire way to decrease corruption. Decrease the amount of money and power the government has.

They can't steal what they don't have.
>>
>>56806459
>he doesn't think the same shit happened during the PT years
it didn't, the fact we were able to survive the 2008 crisis was literally the fact that our internal market has finally flourished, while all other governments neglected it for exports. Also after Milagre econômico, our country suffered a whole decade of recession and inflation triggering the hyper inflation back in 90's, leading to FHC to control the inflation by pairing it with the dollar and opening the market, but since our market was opened when the 2000 crisis hit, all the foreign money here literally fled the country leading to 15% of unemployment and the government to become bankrupt and ask money to IMF, making the population to vote for Lula in 2002. What made our country and our internal market strong was protectionism, making keynesian economics instead of orthodox IMF austerity policies, by giving huge lines of credit for the population and industries making our GDP per capita in the first time in history to grow in a solid way. PT made our economy to flourish because they literally did the opposite of the world wanted and actually applied the Brazilian behaviour to our economy, just think would you continue to pay taxes if the government simply start to ramp up taxes while cutting costs? We aren't Germans or Swiss, we will simply dodge the biggest ammount of taxes we can even more because fuck the government, that is why austerity has never worked here and will never work, that's why keynesian economics work here, because we are uppity and optimistic people that will actually spend more when we have more and will not decrease our live styles if we the government ask us to do it

he increased our taxes as much as his successors did. Lula and Dilma were a continuation of his shit government, just worse. Lula was lucky to get the country during the chinese boom. They just ran out of luck now
>>
>>56807038
He increased taxes while cutting costs to get the IMF money, that is what literally killed the economy, tax revenue literally plummeted more, also allied with the fact we didn't have any international reserves and the fact we were burning money to keep up with pairing the real to the dollar and since the 2000 crisis made the Foreign money to flee from the country and since our economy was wide open to the foreign market, it literally left us in shambles. That is why a non-establishment president won that year. Also the dollar skyrocketed from 1 to 4 reais in less than a semester when the pairing was lifted. China boom was good for the country, but the fact we had reserves to control the dollar and we were much more closed economically, our government was stronger and the internal market was flourishing was literally the reason we didn't felt the 2008 crisis, specially since Lula gave tax exemptions for the BR companies to boom our internal economy even more, since the foreign market was ded
>>
>>56807224
>Also the dollar skyrocketed from 1 to 4 reais in less than a semester when the pairing was lifted
FHC kept it artifically low during those years. It was a cambial populism of sorts, and he did it to get votes for himself and his party. So as he kept our currency stronger than it should for a long time, it went down hard went he fucked off. Lula wasn't a complete lunatic, especially considering people were expecting PT to be like the PSOL is today, but he still is a fucking populist bafoon who installed shit populist programs that do nothing but increase corruption and lower productivity, especially with the power the unions have now, and our industry keeps shrinking and turning into shit.

The only thing that truly developed well was our agroindustrial sector, mostly because it was sort of left alone. PT did less than nothing
