Kek, our nations' relations are pretty much irreconcilably damaged. Your countrymen's obsession with seeing themselves in the Palestinians and our history together just cause too much bad blood - you've been funding our enemies, you took ~30 years to establish diplomatic relations with us, 50 for an embassy, and had a weird obsession in the 70s to deploy soldiers here which we frequently clashed with.
I mean for a 1st world European country this is pretty much as bad as it can get, nobody else in Europe has opposed Israel this harshly.
Plus being religiously distanced from us as fuck doesn't help either.
