I am 27 stone (about 380lbs) and McDonalds is probably the most healthy food I eat on a regular basis. The only reason I am so obese is because serving sizes are so big these days. McDonalds has a full nutrition index and small servings and calculator on their site which is brilliant and helps a lot. I actually track my meals. The last 12 meals (about 4 days worth) I have eaten are in ascending order of calories: (estimates for home made food)
'Cheat Day' Ultimate Midweek energizer (my typical wednesday meal): 5 Mars Bars stirred into Mash Potatoes to melt and get gooey with 6 Cumberland Sausages and large pot of hummus 3000 calories (tbf it was only this and breakfast today)
Fish and Chips from the local chippy, with 2 large fish and kebab meat 2400 calories
Home Made Chicken Korma Curry with Uncle Bens Long Grain Rice and Hot Chocolate 2000 calories
Chicago Town Pepperoni Stuffed Crust Pizza 1796 calories
2 Frozen Sausage and Bean Melts with Chips and Beans 1600 calories

For gaining/losing weight, everything else than an imbalance of the simple equation calories in = calories out is utter pseudoscience desu ("unhealthy" or not is a different issue). You simply cannot gain weight if you burn more than you eat, otherwise congratulations for inventing the perpetuum mobile.
Back when I did the office part of conscription, I went down from 80kg to 74kg (@1.90m) despite going to McD's about 3 times a week for about a year, if you don't eat much else throughout the day, even downing 4 Big Macs at 500 calories each daily won't make you fat
