true story time.
A few years back my dutch friend visited the states. I kind of noticed it what odd that when I visited him over there that he ate everything like fries, pizza etc. with a fork and knife- never with his hands... but i didn't think too much of it...
anyways, when he was over here one of the first places we ate at was a mexican place- because he'd never tried it before. he ordered hard shell tacos.... i couldn't fucking believe what i saw- he took his fork and knife and tried cutting the taco. the shell just broke into pieces but that didn't stop him; he just started using the knife to scoop the taco pieces onto the fork.
he also did the same thing with bbq ribs! i could never convince him it was ok to use your hands over here.
