Foreign visitors are increasing rapidly in Japan.
Thanks for coming, Arigato.
>>
This has to be more book-cooking by the Japs like their deceptively low crime statistics.

I'm guessing they're counting zainichi as "Foreign Visitors" here.
>>
>>56789976
They're mainly Chinese and don't spend much, and your government is unhappy about it.

A weaker currency isn't necessarily a good thing for the economy.

But Abe's government is trying to create a cycle of inflation to jumpstart wage gains and further inflation, and it requires a weak yen.

Problem is that real wages have continued to fall since 2011. You have slightly more yen, but everything costs more.

A weaker currency is not a good thing for a consumer market. Japan's economy is still an export based economy, they do benefit quite heavily from a weak yen.
The problem are not the wages, it is that exports are not competitive qualitatively, Korea is taking the high tech away and China the manufacturing.
>You have slightly more yen, but everything costs more.
The GNI/PPP of Japan is actually going up.

It's impossible to explain it with currency rate only.
Because there was more weak rate in the past. The visitors number of 2015 was over 2 times in the past.

Gomenasai, my name is Ken-Sama.

I’m a 27 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)

I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.

I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%

When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!

I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.

Wish me luck in Japan!

My country is filled with weebs; don't look at any polls saying something different. Last year, 4 famous 'youtubers' from my country (independend from each other) visited tokyo just as if they were on a trip to the "holy land" and the feedback they gave to japan on youtube was overall very positive.

Actually, I don't know a single person here who hates Japan.

I guess you have to expect much more visitors from germany in the future, since the amount of weeaboos here is on the rise; especially young people <20 y/o. I hope they will be good gaijin and not weeb around too much.

I heard that only PIV counts as prostitution in Japan.
If that's true you could probably find somebody to do this for enough money without much trouble. Since you are planning to die anyway you should look for yakuza to help you.

When was it weaker?

Ever consider that not everyone uses the Dollar?

The main source of this increase has come from China and the countries tied closest to its economy.
The Yuan has strengthened 60% since 2000 against the Yen.
The dollar has remained flat.

>I draw anime and managa
>playing superior Japanese games
weeb trash

>I train with my Katana every day blah blah cut through steel
Retarded weeb trash

>I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect
You can't "speak" Kanji, it's a writing system.

>following bushido
Imagine if a westaboo said he followed chivalry 100%. You'd laugh at him because people didn't follow that even when it was in vogue. Bushido is the same, it's an ideal from centuries ago.

>attend a prestigious High School
>27 years old
I shouldn't have to explain what's wrong with this

>I own several kimonos, which I wear around town
weeb trash

>I want to get to used to wearing them ... so I can fit in easier
Most Japanese people only wear kimono on special occasions. Someone who wears one on an ordinary day would stand out, especially if he was white.

>I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can
weeb trash who expects non-Japanese, non-weebs to understand his weeby interpretation of Japanese culture and weeby version of the Japanese language
