>Finland (Finnish: Suomi; Swedish: Finland), officially the Republic of Finland, was a sovereign state in Europe. Existing as an independent country from its independence from Soviet Russia in 1917 to 2039, it was wholly integrated with Estonia following a military coup d'état orchestrated by the Estonian government in coordination with various far-right organizations within Finland itself. Riho Terras, former Commander-in-Chief of the Estonian armed forces, was appointed as interim governor of the renamed County of Lesser Estonia.

According to a quick search I just did there are indeeda few words that have a common root in Hungarian and Mongolian, but those are either Turkic words that got passed into both languages, or mongol origin words which got passed into Hungarian through Turkic influence.
They also speculate that the remaining Avars might have passed on some words of Mongol origin.

'Knower' would be 'tudós' is Hungarian, or for this particular kind of person 'tudós ember' as of 'knowing man' would be a better fit, as the latter has a bit archaic feeling to it.
And afaik the táltos is not imported from another pagan religion, so it easily could be related to the Finnish shaman from way before.

How much has Swedish influenced Finnish, does Finnish has many loanwords from Swedish.
Estonian has been majorly influenced by German, here is a little example of the German loanwords we have
apelsin - orange - Apfelsine (this is probably a borrowing in German as well)
arst - doctor - Arzt
härra - mister, sir - Herr
jaa - yes - ja
kahvel - fork - Gabel (in many loanwords Estonian k- corresponds to German g-, Estonian -hv- corresponds to (Low)German -f- and Standard German -b-)
kartul - potato - Kartoffel
kast - box, case - Kasten
kirik - church - Kirche, Low German Kark, Swedish kyrka
kirs - cherry - Kirsche
kleit - skirt - Kleid
korsten - chimney - Schornstein (even closer to Swedish skorsten)
köök - kitchen - Küche (Low German köken, Swedish kök)
korv - basket - Korb
loss - palace - Schloss (Estonian tends to simplify consonant clusters word-initially)
nojaa - well, yes, okay - nun ja (similar to Latvian "nu jā")
pall - ball - Ball (this might be related to English as well, of course)
pank - bench - Bank (Estonian p- often corresponds to German b-)
pilt - picture - Bild
proovima - to try - probieren (-ma is one of the two infinitive endings in Estonian)
proua - lady, Mrs. - Frau (Estonian didn't have the letter f originally and replaced it with p in many cases)
püksid - trousers - Low German Büchsen, Swedish byxor (-d is the nominative plural in Estonian)
tass - cup -Tasse
tellima - to order - bestellen (this doesn't look similar but very often be- disappeared in Low German, st- became t- in Estonian and -ma again is the infinitive)
torn - tower - Low German Torn
tund - hour -Stunde
tuba - room - Stube
tükk - piece - Stück
vein - wine - Wein
üür - rent (for an apartment) - Low German Hüer
>>

In Setomaa for instance they have their own special snowflek booze called 'õuka' which is under some cultural protection so they are allowed to distill it while in other places that would be illegal. They also have their own church! The 'tsässon'. Which is nothing like the more modern Lutheran church we have in the North.

The South is also the place you go if you want to get the authentic smoke-sauna experience.

There are smoke-saunas in the North too, but they are usually constructed by people who have not been passed down the building knowledge from their fathers and don't know how to make the smoke flow properly.

And in the North people don't use them to smoke meat and stuff...

Btw, the Lake Peipus area (in the East) has their own variation of sauna as well, which is more closer to the Russian banya, but not quite.

So yeah, even though we are a very small country we have quite a lot of difference between the regions.

That is very interesting that Estonia has so many differences. In Finland we have huge differences because up in the Lapland we have samis, and i south we have niggers, leftists, hippies and all shit expecially in Helsinki. In Helsinki there is not any Finnish Culture left because people are dumb and they think that all Finland exept Uusimaa is just counrtyside and Lapland.

I don't believe that Uralic languages arrived from Siberia.

I believe that a language was introduced from Siberia in the 6th millenium BC by the people who introduced pottery to European Russia, but it hybridized with a native language. So Uralic languages developed in Europe from both native and imported components just like English developed in England.

Well, i'll know not much about other tribe mates but here's something about volga ones if you are interested.
>matriarchy
There's history about finno-ugric like an peacefull nation. We doesn't like to cultivate some thing. Our thing is a hunt and gathering.
That's why most of men are spended their time in the forest while women have to keep hearthstone. So, over the time, there was a matriachy. They're was highly respected.
But the role of the head of state (tribe) was still avaliable only for men.
That's it.
>religion
Sort of god-spirits for the nature stuff. For the women origin and for the men.
For example, Veryava and Veryas, wife and husband, spirits of water.
-ava means women. And -as means men.
There's also connection between matriarchy and religion. Women origin is main for the people. And only women at the tribe can being witch, making a rituals.
Another one special is a disconnection between spirits and their nature exhibition.
Veryava is a High spirit of water. But they're not one with water. They're existed apart of each other.
Same story with other spirits.

I remember some time ago a Russian intellectual or cultural theorist from Piter tried to argue for the difference of the Finno-Ugric tribes and Slavs. He noted that a long time ago there was a sharp distinction between the ones who mostly spent their time in the forest, hunting and gathering and the ones that spent their time on the field, raising cattle and growing crops. He also argued that this distinction lives on in Russian language as the following:

Drevljan vs. Poljan (дepeвo -> tree, tree people, пoл -> field, field people).

Are Hungarians big on the whole muh Finno-ugricism thing? They've been hanging out with Slavs for so long it makes me wonder.
>>
>>56787039
>Yes but because Russians are occupying the lands of some of our brethren, they have to post under the Russian flag for now.
They all are Rossiyans (citizens of Rossiya). But we you use word Russian, it is about the the Russian (Russkie) people, and we don't include another peoples living in Russia into ot - they are Karelian people, Tatar People, Chechen People, etc.
>>

>Russians
There's some theory about Russians = Slavic + Finno-Ugric. Because russian culture has become exist only after Ruric (which is probably was finn too).
So, maybe you shouldn't see Russians and Finno-Ugric like absolutely different people that has no kinship. Just think about it.
And yes, i'm not arguing about steal or not steal. It's a different topic for me.

Ah kuule. Suitsusaun on eriline. Olen elu aeg Põhja-Eestis elanud. Suitsusaun on järve kaldal ja teen liha ka seal. Jah see on pärit Lõuna-Eestist (sama moodi nagu meie kõik uurali tagant) aga ära nüüd nii eriliseks ka tee ennast. Special little snowflake.

Haplogroups don't determine ones heritage or identity. Even less about your language family.
>>
>>56787379

U4.. less common and more western I think. But Still mongorian

N is Finnic though and R1a is indo-european. Geography means very little especially in Asia as everybody was nomadic and mixing.
