Yeah that's kind of what is happening. The young adults of the suburbs tend to hate the suburbs and many are looking to move back to the city. The problem is Detroit's school system is beyond fucked up (they've closed many schools over the last couple decades) so getting people to bring or start a family is still a major hurdle.
