No. It's much much bigger. It's actually bigger than the Suburban or Escalade. Badge engineering is usually cancer but Lincoln has actually gotten pretty good at making their cars differentiated from their Ford counterparts.

The steps could actually be implemented easily. All they'd need to do to avoid them getting damaged would be to install a cheap proximity sensor to detect when they're too close to an obstacle so they stay retracted or only deploy partway. The current navigator already has electronically deployable running boards that operate similarly.

Fords are pretty middle of the road regarding reliability not really bad but not anything special either. How would you have any experience with US Fords if you're in Europe or any ability to compare them against their US versions. IRL, there's not a noticeable difference between them. They're made by robots regardless and a lot of them are cross shipped. Some Focuses sold in the US are built in Germany while some initial Mondeos sold in Europe were built in the US.

Yeah I think it's actually pretty ugly too. Most people who are into it seem to only be into it due to it being Italian and therefore novelty. IRL, the BMW 3, Lexus IS, Cadillac ATS and Jaguar XE seem to handle better. The turbo V6 version seems pretty awesome but if I was going to spend that much money on an Italian car I'd just get a proper Quattroporte.

And the Quadrifoglio version too won't be able to match its rivals like the M3 and the C63S in terms of realistic track performance and overall value.
