What's your favourite thing about your country?

A life isn't enough to visit all the pretty places in Italy. That's it, i guess.

We threat criminals like criminals. Not like victims.

Yep, this is where the forest spirits dwell alongside the Great Toad and the Serpent King.

Then seek the Lady of the Lake or the spirits of the fountains (they are female). Whisper words sweet as honey and your future will be shown in the waters.

I wish people here had a better sense of fashion. Fucking brand loyalty killed us. You don't see people in the early-mid 20th century obsessing over ralph lauren or nike. People wore suits and shiny shoes and that was it.
>>56702339
How this relates to my pic I do not exactly know, but thanks for your informative posting nonetheless. ralph lauren and nike weren't around in the early-mid-20th century though.

the way how the countryside is so different to the city-life, the beer-culture and the way people stand together.

You can be dismissive of atheists all you want but you don't kill the fuckers. People go through phases in life and it's just a temporary delusion.
Its ever-growing diversity.
All the forests and nature, and especially the big blue open sky. It's an adventure waiting to happen, and it can all happen without other people.
That said living in Toronto most of the time instead of being in the open country is comfy af
Well, i travelled around the world and i never met people like brazilian people. We can meet and be like best friends in a single night.
Outside my country, people are somewhat cold.
The closest place that i found people like brazilians is far away, in Thailand.

I'm planning to move to Ottawa in 5 years. Is it a great place to live? I already went to Toronto and I luvd it, but i didn't stay for long. It was a quick work trip.

Ottawa is okay, it's fun to visit if you're a boring nerd like me that loves museums and government buildings. It's peaceful, you might learn French if you spend much time across the river. Plus in winter you can skate along the canal if its cold enough.
I wouldn't move there myself, unless I landed a nice government job. It definitely does not have the same big city feel as Toronto (if you even felt it was big considering you came from Brazil), and it generally has a lot less going on. It is nice and close to lots of great parks like Algonquin provincial park if you're into that sort of stuff.
If I might ask, why Ottawa, have a job landed?
Best place to birdwatch

The fact that I can mention the name of an Australian animal (except a few well known ones) and almost no-one that isn't Australian will know what the fuck I'm talking about.
Also 2nd highest HDI in the world.
Beautiful and varied landscape and the nicest people ive seen out of all the countries ive visited.
Granted ive spent most of my time abroad in tourist areas the time that I have spent in rural belgium and germany has shown me that people are generally colder and more easily agitated than in America
Free WiFi I guess
