Xbox One. I grew super attached to Halo as a kid and I just can't abandon the franchise no matter how much 343 shits on it. I would be a (full) PC gamer if not for that, but I still play a lot of games on my laptop because I like mouse and keyboard better even if it does mean the graphics look worse.

I haven't tried VR, although my roommate's friend is getting the VR goggles thing for his Galaxy note so i might get to try that eventually. Also there's rumors of a hardware revision for the PS4, so if you wait you can get the older model for cheap. Being an early adopter of VR isn't going to be what it's hyped up to be, I'd wait until there's a good sized game library that supports VR.

Consoles are pretty poor though. You get a handful of exclusives (of which the good ones make it to PC, because money), and that's it. The online service costs, backwards compatability is same as legalised euthanasia in that no one wants to touch that topic, the communities are largely under-age or Chads who behave like under-agers, and when you upgrade, it's a lump deal with a tonne of surprise terms (ps4 is now Pay2Online, Xbone is always online or fuck you). Granted, they often give out on these terms when they harm sales, but who wants to be put in the position?
