Muslim immigrant ready to go home after 5 years in the US as a resident. Ask your questions
>>
Is it what you imagined it to be
>>
>>56526048
where's your home?
where in usa were you and why do you leave?
>>
Can you take the rest with you
>>
Ready to go home, as in you REALLY want to leave, or you have to leave because visas?

What's your home country?

Did you eat any pig products while here?

Experience any discrimination?

Disgusted by our yoga pants + uggs +smartphone women and looking for a hijab-wearing cutie?

Are you excited to go back to Germany?
>>
>>56526084
Hmm, well I didn't imagine much. My parents wanted to come and I came with them and my little brother. Now they both have secure niche jobs and little brother finished HS and also works part time. I was pretty healthyly sarcastic and aware of grass always being greener on the other side.

Uzbekistan. In NYC. Many reasons, no friends, always too busy with very unhealthy jobs and schedule, 14 hours an average, most of standard ways or things or government jobs are taken eternity before and it just isn't working for me.

Are you a Muslim or just from a Muslim family?
>>
>>56526219
do you have plans when you go back
>>

I actually took 5 people with me so far. I think it's the peak right now and from here on only, you know, those who come through political asylum, fictional marriage and refugees will come in very small numbers actually. I mean people are crying about Germany but actually from Reagan to W Bush there were 30 million people who came here. I don't think next 30 years will bring 30 million people.

Yeah NYC will do that to you. Ever consider moving out of the city? I know it's less exciting, but the slower pace of life might suit you. The Northeast in general is really hectic. We're considered the "busy-bodies" of the country. Maybe look into the South or West.

>Ready to go home, as in you REALLY want to leave, or you have to leave because visas?
I have permanent resident Green Card status.
>What's your home country?
Uzbekistan
>Did you eat any pig products while here?
No intentionally but pork is available.
>Experience any discrimination?
Some sort of affirmative action by non title ethnicities but totaly private issue actually.
>Disgusted by our yoga pants + uggs +smartphone women and looking for a hijab-wearing cutie?
Hijab women, I don't know man, I'm not looking for anything.

Muslim for wannabe muslims family who are former communists.
>>56526267
Maybe join police, or insurance co, or group up with some folks and start a business.
>>
>>56526291
I lived in smalltown New Jersey, in Florida and NYC, so I don't know, most people would agree that I tried it all.
>>
>>56526468
Ah, I see. What kind of life are you looking for? Is Uzbekistan more socialist and job schedules less demanding?
>>
>>56526526
Actually no, marketplace is completely unfetted except for regulations and standards that concern generic non invasive stuff. I don't know, maybe I'll get master's degree and not owe 100K but rather pay 500$. Maybe go for governent jobs, or joint ventures etc. I mean every sector is actually liberalised and not subsidized from oil to finance so you know it's fair at all times.

have you impregnate some american yet?
>>
>>56527014
God no, kek :D
>>
>>56526468
I had a similar experience being here for 12 years (i'm from Afghanistan). States is nice for money but overall living is too stressful and cultural difference too much. As soon as I finish my masters I would like to leave, but unlike you my home country is pointless to live in.
>>
>>56527154
I hear you bro. Sadly Dari/Farsi speaking countries are mess at this point, like most of our countries.
>>

Uzb is better than the average for sure. Where does your family live? Mine are here, so I might just end up staying. After all, my only options are Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, or maybe Turkey or India. But all of that seems like quite a pain to move to a place you know little about.
