3. Nobody. People always leave. Or die. Like my father. So why bother creating attachments? I purposely avoid falling in love with anyone. Or liking people. I keep my distance and expect my friends to be low maintenance. Saves me the heartache later.
Though I'm slowly but surely going insane. Apparently human interaction helps you stay sane. Who knew? I think in a couple of years I'll probably snap and commit sudoku. It's become a mantra these days. "I've spent over a decade alone, and I'm fine,surely I can manage to live another one without going insane". Maybe if I say it often enough one day I'll believe it.

It was really hard to choose desu, my best friend and I have been friends for around 7.5-8 years. I'm very alone at uni, and can't find anyone who has the same spark that he or my other good friends from home do. I think it's something about growing up in a really small town that lets you be interesting. Many of the people at uni are homogenized, but in small towns, there's nobody to homogenize with. Nobody could really do the power-clique/conformity thing in middle-high school because there weren't enough people to influence, and because everyone knew everyone else. If a wannabe Stacey tried to pull slick shit with your average Wojak, he could conveniently remember the time she shat herself in 3rd grade. Fuck, I really dislike uni.
