>On 14 March 2016, President Putin announced during a televised meeting with Defense Minister Shoigu and Foreign Minister Lavrov that the mission which he set for the Russian military in Syria "has been accomplished" and he ordered the withdrawal of the "main part" of the Russian forces from the country. According to a BBC diplomatic correspondent, Russia's intervention achieved its main goals: it consolidated President Assad's position, enabled his forces to re-take key pieces of strategic territory and ensured that Assad remains a factor in any future Syrian settlement.[29]

Compare that to scorched earth policy in Chechnya

More refugees for EU helps Russia
>>
>>56518152
Yes, and you are comparing that to who else?
If every country went on a bombing campaign, the US would get the less collateral damage.
The US has experience trying to minimize collateral as much as possible.

Russia, China, and other countries would kill in one week, what the US kills in a year.
The US gets a lot more attention, that is why when one civilian dies at the hand of the US, the world goes >HUR DUR
But when Russia kills 1000 people in a few month, nobody gives a fuck.
>>
>>56518175
Literally fighting an insurgent force within your own borders that is abducting and killing your own soldiers

Completely different tactics needed, scorched earth was necessary to deal with that
>>
>>56518086
Try actually reading that. None of the articles has any source. Most say the hospital was bombed and no one has any idea by whom. Then it immediately goes mentioning Russia.
I'm very sorry for you if you can't filter your news.

You have no sources for your claims. Comparing completely different wars with different enemy numbers and civilian density is not balanced

you're just making up shit from your head because it's ideal
>>
>>56518152
I'm not saying the US is perfect with regards to civilian casualties and stuff. I have family in the military, I know a lot of soldiers are just stupid young men who don't care in any conflict. But we still kill less civilians than Russia and probably China if they got involved in a war. Because a) we get more attention since we're the only super power, so we're held to a higher standard, and b) the military industrial complex means our government really doesn't mind spend billions and billions on r & d to make weapons more precise.
>>
>>56518198

Russia doesn't care for innocence lives/collateral damage. Especially in Syria Russia wants EU to be flooded with Syrians to get leverage over them cuz of sanctions

I just posted numerous sources from international NGOs, to middle eastern news sites. How about you read some of them.

>The report focuses on six attacks in Homs, Idleb and Aleppo between September and November 2015 which killed at least 200 civilians and around a dozen fighters. The briefing includes evidence suggesting that Russian authorities may have lied to cover up civilian damage to a mosque from one air strike and a field hospital in another. It also documents evidence suggesting Russia’s use of internationally banned cluster munitions and of unguided bombs in populated residential areas.

https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2015/12/syria-russias-shameful-failure-to-acknowledge-civilian-killings/

Start with amnesty, if you want.
>>

That is 3 months, and they already tallied up to at least 200 civilian casualties.

Here Have Doctors without Borders

>Airstrikes in Syria have killed at least 35 Syrian patients and medical staff in 12 hospitals in northern Syria since an escalation in bombings began in late September, the international medical humanitarian organization Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) said today.

According to staff at the hospitals, the attacks, which have also wounded 72 people, targeted medical facilities in Idlib, Aleppo, and Hama governorates, including six supported by MSF. Overall, six hospitals have been forced to close, including three supported by MSF, and four ambulances were destroyed. One hospital has since reopened, yet access to emergency, maternity, pediatric, and primary health care services remains severely disrupted.

Just to recap:

>Airstrikes in Syria have killed at least 35 Syrian patients and medical staff in 12 hospitals in northern Syria since an escalation in bombings began in late September
>LATE SEPTEMBER

Point-blank range is any distance over which the trajectory of a given projectile fired from a given weapon remains sufficiently flat that one can strike a target by firing at it directly. Point-blank range will vary by a weapon's external ballistics characteristics and target chosen.

John Kerry wants to appear worried, but he is along with Obama the main political culprit for the genocide committed by the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. Worse, ISIS is a creation of the US drive to curb the Syrian government of Bashar al Assad and Iran's influence in the area. Any late progressive remorse like that seen in 'Killing Fields' the movie is worthless. The warnings were duly presented.-

Not inherently, but money does buy more accurate guiding systems and stuff in this case. Our military has mapped the world to a resolution of iirc 6in by 6in and they are constantly updating that elevation map, and our missiles/bombs use radar and constantly compare its readings to the map so that the bomb/missile knows where it is to that resolution of 6in by 6in. That's pretty precise.

Actually american air strikes primary targeted lone thigs in the middle of deserts since kurds don't operate in big cities and coalition pretty much only bombed for kurds. RuAF had to operate in the most dense populated areas like Alepo, Idlib and so on with much more intense graphic. We had more fly hours in a month than the whole coalition in few years.
