This is why I can't watch TV. American media is a joke today. Once it was great but now it only caters to the biggest goons in society.
Once upon a time, you could turn on the science channel and learn things. Now all that channel airs is CRAB BOAT, MOTORCYCLE HICKS, MOONSHINERS, etc. Even the History Channel said "fuck it" to actual history and started showing documentaries about space aliens. It's breeding a society of retards.

lads I'm probably going to italy this summer to take a course in documentary filmmaking even though I literally have no experience in filmmaking outside of a couple high school film classes. I was going to be taking a different course in italy but my uni pushed my application to this program after I didn't get into that and I'll probably do this if my other applications don't pan out. what documentaries with good direction and production would you recommend studying beforehand?
