There has to be a balance, comrade. If we let too many people in, we suffer from overpopulation. If we let undocumented immigrants in, even if there are those who are genuinely fleeing a country to escape prejudice and crime, there are some, who are considerably wealthy, who want to exploit our welfare.
The thing which you should be supporting is getting undocumented people, documented. That way we can defrantiate from the people who want to contribute, have a job, and respect our culture, and the people who want to exploit our welfare AND try and spread an ideology that degrades human beings.

I am a leftist and a Sanders supporter and I would like to see legislation passed to harshly punish American businesses and recruiters for hiring undocumented immigrants on contract or otherwise, and I don't think every child born here should be granted citizenship either. Those are better steps to close the border than a gigantic wall is. Or more detention centers.
