Celibacy is only required for Latin Rite, and even then there are exceptions. I know an Anglican minister who was married with children, who later converted to Catholicism and is an ordained priest. He simply can't be a pastor. And, if I'm not mistaken, the Eastern Rite priests, for example, ordains those who are already married. There are "loopholes".
But for me it's just one among many of life's pleasures that we deny ourselves for Christ. It's no worse than not swearing, or not eating as many desserts as you like, or not over-indulging in alcohol. It comes down to the fact that serving God is more important to me than enjoying these things.

Theology is pretty complex. There's a good amount of philosophy too. Catholics don't just have the Bible either. They have tradition and scripture. There was a religion teacher at my high school who was in seminary in Ireland for a few years before he decided it wasn't for him. He was in a documentary about it from the 90s. He ended up getting married and having kids.
