Oil. Hookers. Married men fucking hookers away from their wives. Rednecks. Vast fields of NOTHING. It's honestly the worst state there is, you get excited when you see a single planted tree that's how boring and ugly it is.
>>
german and norwegian diaspora

90% white, a few indian reservations

North Dakota is a dumb fucking state.

Completely useless

We should nuke it
>>
Oil
Farmers from western Minnesota who got fed-up with the libcucks in the twin cities ruining the state.

>>

Fun fact. It was only called Fargo because the coen brothers didn't like the way "Brainerd" sounded. That movie and tv show have nothing to do with ND.

>>56380151
>That movie and tv show have nothing to do with ND

Parts happen in North Dakota tho, in a city called Fargo
I know they filmed in Canada actually but it's presented as ND

Also I'm only talking about the show, I haven't seen the movie yet

It can't be worse than West-Virginia, can it?

The whole state is worse than Detroit. Please don't come here

It's not worse but it's not really any better, either.

It has our nukes alongside oil, more useful than half the states easily

North Carolina vs South Carolina

Which wins?

North Dakota is more prosperous than South Dakota. The people who live in the former are better off than the people who live in the latter. Mexico is a great place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. That applies to different regions of first world countries as well.

North Dakota is definitely not half as interesting as South Dakota, but when I'm living and working there I don't care about how many neat national parks there are for tourists, I care about how much I'm getting paid.

The oil won't last forever. I live right by both and have been to both numerous times. I would NEVER live in ND.

I moved here from Southern California, it's pretty cool but...
> Lots of Mexicans
> Lots of blacks who commit most of the crimes
> Lots of angry people
> Lots of Churches
> Lots of pot heads and drugs
More crime
> Rap culture is fucking rampant amongst youngsters
> Fucking trucks everywhere cars are a minority up here
But on the bright side
> Country side is pretty cool
> Pretty based white people
> Some cool Scandinavian shit like Norsk Hostfest the largest Scandinavian festival in Norh America
> Cool little towns
> People are very alive up here
> Great winters if you are lucky to have the right genetics to where 10 degrees feels good to you, it just runs in my family I guess

So overall the people are pretty similar to California; Asians, Mexicans, Middle Eastern, etc

however the main difference between the people here and Southern California is that people in California behave with very little concious, have very little flare to their souls, and overall their deaths would go largely unnoticed. But still lots of old assholes here in ND that I want to push down the stairs.

Oh and there is lots of jobs here.
>>
>>56385028
Aren't the badlands in South Dakota, anyway?

Depends on where you live in South Dakota. For example, unless I'm traveling to better scenery I don't leave Sioux Falls. Damn near went insane living in a small town outside the city.
>>
>>56388234
sioux falls is getting kind of weird though, especially some of the neighborhoods near downtown
>>
>>56388277

I think I know what you're talking about, but can I hear it from your own words?

Enjoy paying $2.00+ per gallon for gas senpai. I'll keep paying $1.45.

Got as low as $1.29 at one point, but then it shot back up.

What, got tired of the shit piling up in that hole you call a state? You dug it. Live in it. Stop leaving and making all the other states shit.
>>
>>56379402
I have no idea, but SD is based
>>
>>56388295
it's probably a combination of being an oblivious child and having a horrible sense of direction, but I remember the areas near downtown being really nice places when I was young, but now when I visit I see shitty rundown houses and unpleasant poor neighborhoods

I don't know what exactly it is, but when I was young I thought it'd be great to live in sioux falls, but now I see it as just a mini-minneapolis. fine to visit but not a great place to live

>>

Downtown is the hot spot for transients, not to mention both shelters being right in the center there and the halfway houses being a rock throw away from the downtown area. I know what you're talking about too. All the houses and living space just west of downtown are run to the ground, constant changes in tenants and shady as fuck people around there. And don't get me started on the sheer number of drunks stumbling about all the time. That there is a problem I really wish would disappear. Still, downtown is more for visiting than living, plus I like that weird phenomenon that happens at about 3 in the morning where all the streets are empty and quiet.
