First year you will make like 35K-40K. Second year it goes up to 45K But if you get on a team where you sleep when someone is driving and then you drive when they sleep.
You make about 80K a year. In about 5 years. That's about 400,000$ (minus about 50K for basic food stuffs)
If you became a Owner Operator, where you own your own truck and trailer, you make 100,000k a year(even if you don't go full autist mode)
If you became a O/O and you went full absolute autismo mode you could make a Million in about 6 years.

First of all that's all before taxes, also taking the wage after five years and just multiplying it is elementary school level, also the average trucker wage isn't nearly that high. Unless self employed even specialized HAZMAT drivers and car haulers only average out at 60k before taxes. The average dryvan trucker will roughly make half of those 400k in five years, 200k, and that's still before taxes. And minus living costs no one can even afford their own truck from their wage in the first five years. Remember you'll have to pay for every bit of maintenance and repairs and fuel yourself, it's not just purchase, and on semi trucks those things can quickly go into the thousands.
