Do old men lurk in the locker room in your country too, or is it just the US that is infested with them?
What do they do at your gyms if not lurking? Sometimes I think they live back there, or that they are lost souls bound to the locker room by some force until they have disgusted enough people to be allowed into the afterlife.

The oldest dude I ever saw in my gym was early middle age (and he was /fit/).

At least at my gym, you get 3 free sessions with a personal trainer when you join so you can learn the equipment there
