Whats wrong with continuing the party at a mates place? Its much more intimate, i can say that the lock out laws have worked wonders for my social life, before my friends and new people we meet at night would be inclined to stay out all night, drink till you drop at a club and we haul the ones passed out home, where as now we would go back to mine or someone elses near by to just take it down a notch and just enjoy each others company, at clubs you want to get hammered asap you cant hear anyone, where when youre comfy at someones place with music everyone loves its more of a relaxed atmosphere, and youre more comfortable doing drugs too without the fear of coppers walking through the club with sniffer dogs.
Also taking new people home is much easier now.
