Canada and Russia are very big countries and different areas have different climates.
>>
>>56137081
How's life there?
>>
>>56136972
The same i guess. Depends on the part of a country.
>>

I'm impressed by these two towns in North-Eastern Russia, who in their right minds would live there?

It sucks, I'm only here for a month but god damn I have no idea why anyone in their right mind would live here

I was there in the summer once and it was pretty cool. 10/10 very comfy would visit again and eat fresh arctic char
>>
>>56136972
Better question, how are the summers in algeria?
>>
>>56137342
In the north it's comparable to southern California, pretty hot in the south.

Aren't they like, the same?

There are warm parts of Russia while all of Canada is freezing cold and covered by snow 6 months a year.
>>
>>56137515
wait we are colder than most of europe?
we are colder than sweden and the rest of scandanavia?
>>
>>56139212
Russia is covered by snow for 9 months
>>
Canada is covered by snow for 11 months.

our summer consists of 1 month of temperatures between 0C and 5C
>>
>>56136972
It used to be Russia, but now it's Canada I guess.
>>

We have "deep continental climate", not sure if there is non-russian version of this on wiki. This far distance from water makes winters to be frozen hell (and summer harsher). Some cities/towns get to -65C.
>>
>>56136972
We had hardly any winter this year in Alberta desu

I put on a winter coat maybe twice, my hoodie was all I needed
>>
>>56142926
How do cars and automobiles deal with such extreme temperatures? doesn't it fuck them up?
>>
>>56136972
The climate in Canada might be harsher, the living standard is better.
>>
>>56142995
The same shit m8. Only one month was barely -20. Last month was ±5.
>>
>Live in Siberia
>Don't expect the fucking snow to go away until mid May
>Steady -10 Celsius for the last week
Yeah nah Canada need not apply. Mind that far east of Russia has it even worse.
>>
>>56137216
>attacked by a pack of about four hundred wolves
What the fuck.
>>
canada isn't even that bad. like 90% of the population live on or near the US border. people actually live in the cold parts of russia.
>>
>>56145222
yeah, imagine being in the dead of the winter, hunderds of miles away from all possible help and getting besieged by a horde of starving wolves

russia
>>
>>56145512
400 is not a horde, it's an army.
>>
>>56145460
I live an hour drives from the border in Winnipeg and we're one of the coldest cities in the world. We get -45 winters pretty regularly.
>>
>>56137515
Lowest ever, not on average cold
>>
>>56137515
Is this accounting for wind chill or not? If not, I literally can't fathom temperatures this cold.
>>
They are both in the same climate zones
>>
>>56145596

Nah.

It's only a battalion.
>>
>>56143109
Russian subhumans let the motors run all the time.
>>
>>56136972
The question obviously makes no sense. Since both countries have different climate zones
Maybe you can compare cities;
Toronto and Moscow
Winnipeg and Novosibirk
They are about the same
>>
>>56137081
why would you ever what to live in that shithole?
