It's basically a slightly weirder but safer version of America. Living in Seattle I could move to Vancouver and feel like I barely moved at all. Enough Chinese and needles to keep me from getting homesick.

I've always been kind of fascinated by Africa. The geography, the many different cultures, and of course the great North African civilizations. I'd probably choose a place in North Africa were it not for the regrettable state of Islam but Botswana will do. It's relatively safe, decent english speaking population, and majority Christian. My decent savings would probably go pretty far there too.
