Why the fuck don't americans have washing machines INSIDE the apartment? This seems crazy inconvenent, it's the same as having shower or dishwasher outside of it
>>
I imagine using one in an apartment must be pretty annoying for the person living in the apartment below. That being said here you can find washing machines in most apartments unless it's a small one.

I've never once lived in an apartment that didn't have a washer and dryer. Perhaps you squatted in the wrong kind.
>>
>>56069892
Because you don't need 1 set per apartment.
Some do come with that option, and you could probably have one rigged up yourself, but washeterias are a cheap solution.
>>
>>56069892
I have seen in movies and textbooks, they keep their washing machines in the kitchen.

A lot of apartments don't allow wash machines.
>>
I'd say 90% of the apartments in this country have them, the bottom piss poor ones are the ones that don't, which is why the only people you see at laundromats like your photo are
1. spics/turks
2. some art hippie student
>>
I dont know, come to thnk of it.

I lived in an apartment once, and had no washer/dryer

Ive lived in a mobile home, had them by the bathroom, a condo, had them in the kitchen behind a sliding door, and a regular house, had them in a little room connected to the kitchen.

But in the apartment there was none.

Thats really kind of strange
>>
>>56070280
do you share dishwashing machines as well?
>>
>>56073999
But I seen Jerry Seinfeld and his friends there and he was a rich comedian
>>
>>56070280
laundromat you crazy foreigner
>>
>>56069892
Those places are for the lower class, man. Middle class and upward all have indoor washer/dryer.
>>
Ive never met anyone who has ever used laundromat in their entire life
>>
>>56069892
I'm a student renting a shithole and even I have a washer/dryer unit in my apartment.

I have used a laundromat, AMA

It used to be 1 - 2 dollars and accepted only quarters

it has a slot push in thing and you put in coins in each of the slots and you push the thing in

People that are younger than you doesn't mean millenials.

I highly doubt anyone here was born in the fucking 70s

Everyone here was probably born in the late 80s to 90s

Cheap apartments have a communal laundry area, more expensive apartments will have in-unit laundry machines.
>>
>>56074935

Sorry lad. I was born in 78.
>>

You're fucking 38?
>>

Sorry for ruining your secret club, junior.
>>
>>56075273
That's pathetic, get a real hobby.
>>
only the rattiest apartments dont have personal laundry
>>
>>56069892
We have a seperate room filled with laundry machines where I live. Not that bad desu.
>>
>>56069892
Newer apartments have it in the unit. Older usually have common laundry rooms or none at all.
>>
>>56069892
Wait they don't?
