Anyway, Egyptians have 10-something % sub-Saharan admixture on average. Even if we double that for ancient Egyptians to make African-Americans feel better, we arrive at generally contemporary North African % of SS.
It makes more sense to use random Western Eurasians to play those roles than your average 20% Northwest European/80% West-African.
In general the people who are most invested in this sort of nonsense are either African-Americans (we wuz kangz) or Northern Europeans (made up white social category).
