Settling in a certain region (in the case of Ashkenazi Jews that region was, for the most part, Central and Eastern Europe) doesn't make you automatically have the ethnicity of the region's inhabitants. By your logic, Swedes of Somalian descent are Nordic.

It really bothers me that people with no knowledge of the research that has been conducted on the genetics of Ashkenazi people are always the loudest. Assuming that they are Germanic, simply because they are to some degree culturally Germanic and spoke German (and Jewish variants of it) is pure ignorance. Jews settled in Central Europe and Eastern Europe for several reasons (Catholic persecution for one, the main one). Southern European Christianity was more unified & stronger than that in the north of Europe and thus had at its disposal more possibilities and opportunities to persecute Jews/jews. Likewise, Nazi Germany provoked a Jewish exodus from Germany to the UK and the USA.
Also, although it is stated in the image I posted to you in my previous post, I wanted to emphasize this point: 60% to 80% of Ashkenazi Jews are lactose intolerant. Note that lactose intolerance is virtually unknown of in Germanic populations.
