Nothing. A citizen has no influence in the laws of his own country, never mind the entire globe. It gets legalized when somebody (pharma, perhaps even industrial growers) outlobbies the organized crime benefiting from its criminalization.
I don't want cannabis legalised though
I think the worst part is how people act like it's the next medical revolution like anesthesia was to surgery. You can tell 90% of the people who are advocating it for medical use (and ultimately, recreational use) are a bunch of fucking annoying stoners just looking for validation to get high.
I have no problem with weed, and I think it's silly that it's illegal in in a lot of places - but I think it remains illegal mostly because stoners are a bunch of fucking dumb, annoying degenerates who don't know what the meaning of moderation is. If I didn't know the science behind it and I met a stoner, I would want it to stay illegal too.
Marijuana is a lot like homosexuality.
You know the science behind it. You know it will never disappear from society. You know it's inevitable.
But the people who partake in it are such fucking dickheads that you just want it banned.

Honestly yeah it's the dumb people who get blazed every day for no discernible reason that kinda get me inclined to have it stay illegal. It's really not harmful by itself but these idiots are ruining if for the rest of the world.
