The Ottomans were quite tolerant and decent at running a multiethnic state compared to the Seljuks and many of the other successor states. The Greek-speaking population of Bithynia (which also had Balkan Slavic ancestry considering previous Byzatnine forced migrations) was probably the greatest % of the early "Ottomans".
