But keep in mind its not our fault. Our government lets fertilizer companies dump toxic waste in our water supply.

American confirmed retarded
>>
>>55778302
our country has been in the grip of a nuclear insanity since the inception of the atom bomb. Its hard to describe it, but suffice to say America has two faces, and you can't trust either one.

See, its funny you think that, but its taught here in our schools. They tell us its to promote healthy teeth and prevent cavities.

You may think I'm joking but I'm not.
>>
>b-but regulations are communist!
>>
>>55778302
How are we supposed to do anything in this country when we are so disenfranchised that they are dumping toxic waste in our water?

http://fluoridealert.org/articles/phosphate01/

We say we live in a democracy, but thats a farce. Our government functions nothing like a democracy.
>>
>>55778451
You tinfoil hat wearing dumbfuck

Fluoride is there to prevent teeth cavities, not to poison you
>>
>>55778472
hell, maybe it does. Maybe I've just turned a blind eye to what a democracy actually does.
>>
>>55778488
>taking the bait
come on now
>>
>1ppm added fluoride
That's close to the natural fluoride levels world wide (0.8ppm)
Also bottled mineral water can contain up to 5ppm, without anything added to it
>>
>>55778302
Fluoride is perfectly fine, what do you think is in toothpaste?

3/10 bait made me reply
>>
>>55778559
there is unbridgeable gap between drinking water and toothpaste. what if you eat toothpaste on a daily basis? the answer is obvious.

>Thankfully, most fresh water supplies contain very low levels of fluoride. The average level of fluoride in unpolluted fresh water is less than 0.1 ppm, which is about 10 times less than the levels added to water in fluoridation programs (0.7 to 1.2 ppm).

Yes I read it too, and it might be true if you get your drinking water from springwater but I highly doubt this number is true for the whole of the US
In the EU for example the maximum amount allowed is 1.5ppm I believe, the average is 0.6-0.9ppm

they are dumping this shit in our WATER

Silicofluoric Acid
can affect you when inhaled.
f
Silicofluoric Acid
is CORROSIVE and contact can severely
irritate and burn the skin and eyes with possible eye
damage.
f
Silicofluoric Acid
can irritate the nose and throat.
f
Inhaling
Silicofluoric Acid
can irritate the lungs. Higher
exposures may cause a build-up of fluid in the lungs
(pulmonary edema), a medical emergency.
f
Exposure can cause headache, nausea, vomiting, loss of
appetite and, sometimes, nosebleeds.
f
Very high exposure can cause
Fluoride
poisoning with
stomach pain, weakness, convulsions and collapse.
f
Long-term exposure to
Silicofluoric Acid
can cause the
deposit of
Fluoride
in the bones and teeth, a condition called
Fluorosis
. This may cause pain, disability and mottling of the
teeth.
f
The above health effects do NOT occur at the level of
Fluoride
used in water to prevent cavities in teeth.
f
Silicofluoric Acid
may react with WATER and MOIST AIR
to form toxic and/or flammable
Hydrogen Fluoride
and
Hydrogen gases
.

>>
>>55779430
That's ones perspective by one scientist. Did you see the news recently about how many children in the UK have had their teeth pulled? There are adverse health effects associated with poor dental upkeep as well. Then you have shit like amalgam feelings which contain mercury. These will increase without fluoride.

The problem with the anti fluoride people is that they don't look at the big picture. There are problems with fluoride but having a system without it provides its own challenges. It's not as simple as saying "let's just remove fluoride".

The UK is one of the ONLY western european countries that actually uses flouridation.

>Most developed nations in the world have rejected fluoridation, including 97% of western Europe.
>>
>>55779792
this graph shows there is no correlation between lower cavities and flouridation.
>>
>>55779792
12 year olds aren't a good sample for this. You should be looking at individuals who have had their adult teeth for a longer period of time.

>>55779817
And they will have even worse teeth without it.
>>
>>55779849
No it just shows that kids don't get a lot of cavities.
>>
>>55779899
Nvm that doesn't make sense. I have other reasons though. It could be availability of toothpaste. There is a reason you don't just take correlation at face value.
