They mostly keep to themselves, since they're in some of the poorest and most backwards regions (I wonder why). Some keep crying about discrimination and shit though, also last year a bunch got caught for connections with IS.

Sometimes we hear about ISIS sympathizers but overall they're alright. Troublemakers mainly come from Eastern Europe.
All they do, normal muslims, is run kebab-pizzeria restaurants here.

moroccans and to a lesser extent turks are often criminals, they steal, they deal drugs, etc. even though according to their sand belief their hands would be cut off for that. thats actually why most dutch people hate muslims - because they often steal and shit. but people are also starting to become afraid of extremism
in terms of islam itself, muslims whine a lot here. just in general whining about discrimination and shit like that. but in terms of extremists, we've had one incident up until now, which was the killing of an anti-islam direction all the way back in 2004. so in that aspect, it isn't that bad. we had worse problems with indonesian christians in the seventies (molukse acties).
personally, i have some friends from muslim backgrounds. they're all pretty chill.
Seen a bunch in town going about their lives, they seem nice, rarely interact with them personally, but there was this one Muslim fellow who used to take the same bus home as me. He was pretty smart, spoke to him a couple times.
General impression in Canberra is pretty good, though I do read about the more inflammatory islamists in the Sydney newspapers, those guys sound like cunts.
There are no muslims around my town.
I have never seen muslims yet in my life.
