'depression' has become one of those untouchable terms that just gets thrown around willy nilly to where it almost means nothing anymore

it also suggests randomness. like it happens regardless of your situation in life; like a millionaire trust-fund babby who lives in a mansion and bangs 10/10s all day and a guy with a genuinely shitty life and all sorts of social/health/economic problems on the verge of homelessness are somehow just as likely to be effected by it

I'm 20. Yes, I do feel suicidal, but that's a lost cause. I tried suicide several times. Last time I had to spend ~35 days in the hospital. It wasn't fun.
