Muslims are at most 5% of the Danish population, while 90% of the Faroese people are religious nutcases. We are not even a secular nation. Christianity is a mandatory subject all years of public school and creationism is taught while evolution is barely touched on (if at all). We pay almost the same in taxes, but our so-called welfare state is much worse (e.g. the student grants are 40% less here than in Denmark and the state only covers 80% of the tuition fees). The internet is expensive and slow as shit. The telecompanies slow down your internet speed if you use too much bandwidth. Public-funded radio and television that spews Christian propaganda all day long. The weather is absolute shit and it rains every single day. There are few good paying jobs and most jobs are in the public sector. 40% of our export is salmon from a single company called Bakkafrost.
