I live there, near Chicago. It's nice, at least where I am.

>>

Nah, there's only a little on the ground.
>>
>>53969229

Ohio isn't actually that bad, though the lake weather is pretty brutal.

However, the rest of it is accurate, beyond a few cities here and there (Chicago, Detroit) all of that land is a whole lot of fucking nothing. We're talking the type of corn country where people are born, grow up, and die without ever traveling to a relevant state.
>>
>>53969229
all the bulgarians live in chicago and detroit so it must be pretty depressing

ohio isn't midwest more like mid east
>>
>>53969614
That's more East Coast. The Midwest never had that much industry to lose. Our depopulation came from agriculture busts.
>>

I love Milwaukee, I go there a few times a year.
Had a friend that owned a bar there but just found out he was murdered in Tomah
>>
Ohio is more populated than it seems.
>>
>>53969229
I'll let you in on a secret. Those are actually some of the best states. Low crime outside of chimpcongo and detroit, largely white, tons of freedumbs, great outdoor activities like hunting, fishing, hiking. Don't let the coast fags know though. They probably blow their brains out when they realize we like being irrelevant since it keeps the shit skins that are slowly killing their states away

Rust belt is along eastern Michigan and Ohio
>>53969720
When the region was first acquired it was explored and people didn't know how far west the land stretched. Since most people lived along the east coast, the region's known as the midwest
>>
>>53969229
That depends what you define as depressing, if you aren't a clubfag, think Broadway and live music aren't that big a deal and like being outdoors much of the Midwest is great. If you feel the need to be in a big city and for some reason think you get prestige from that maybe it isn't for you
Side note: Cleveland public transportation is god tier though and I have yet been able to explain why.

Florida gets the most retirees, many also go to Arizona, Nevada, Texas, and other warm states.

And either getting shot or later in the week bought out by hipsters. New York is shit, I was born there and lived there for the better part of my life, it's a fucking joke. Go to Virginia, Georgia or North Carolina for plentiful auto jobs and god tier food, Ohio for clean living and jobs or New England for comfy life.

He's retarded and has only memes to go by. In the larger cities like Juneau, Anchorage and Fairbaks is pretty much indistinguishable from living in any American midsized- small city but anything that is not sourced locally is a bit expensive, the prices get really crazy and the things get more wild the further north you go but not many live there and the ones that do either burn the fuck out or are harder than tungsten nails.

It's actually really beautiful and the winters are pretty mild in southern Alaska. Just stay away from the Natives.
>>
>>53972550
To expand on this, Alaska gets a lot of the weirdos/druggies/dregs of society coming in from other states. There is virtually no interstate highway system to speak of, and many towns and cities are only accessible by boat or plane (including the state capital). Everything is more expensive there than in the continental U.S.

Watch "Alaska State Troopers" to see the kinds of depressing villages that all the alcoholic natives live in.
>>
>>53969229

Average California architecture is what's depressing.

>>53969301

The region (at least where I am) has experienced a relatively mild winter as a consequence of El Niño. The most snow I can recall experiencing in my lifetime was ~3 feet (that's one meter for the rest of you), all dumped over a few days. This was about ten years ago.

>>53969660

Not relative to the rest of the country, it isn't. I'll take snow, high-trust white society and actual decent infrastructure over constant 90-degree weather or gun violence (Chicago/Detroit are the outliers in our region, so don't even bother mentioning them) eight days a week.

Know what's really depressing? Losing a civil war, having your skyscrapers bombed, being the constant subject of terrorism, being surrounded by brown people. I don't know how Mississippians and New Jersey-ites and (keeping it honest) Detroiters don't slit their wrists.
>>
>>53972660

Shit, just watch "Alaskan Bush People" and "Alaska: The Last Frontier" to get a good idea just how crazy the people there are.

These are the people that think *Montana* is too crowded.
My father *loves* those shows though, which just confuses me. It's a bunch of weird white guys with hideous gray/brown beards talking about "muh lifestyle" and making their living off scraggly rocks.
>>
>>53972810

Nearly all rural areas are overwhelmingly white. Nignogs can't into wilderness.

There were some Mexicans in rural ND where I live though who loved it. We fished together.

It's honestly about the same burn out rate as other states, getting an opinion of Alaska from dumbass shows like that would be like getting an opinion for the US from COPS.

The northern reaches are rather wild and unless you know what you are doing or are invited and stick close to a native (I don't mean a first nation) it's not recommended you go there.

>endless farms which are spread apart far from each other, causing farming families to lead extremely lonely and depressing lives
>rampant urban sprawl, soulless plastic suburbs, endless parking lots
>freezing fucking cold winters

Chicago is literally the only good thing about the Midwest. The older, walkable areas on the north side like Lakeview, not the suburbs
>>

Another idiot spotted. Chicago is the worst part of the whole midwest and tell your niggers to stop coming north.

The rest of the midwest exists because Chicago allows it to exist.

Midwest is top comfy in the U.S Its literally where (Smart) people go in the U.S to retire and live an intensely comfy existence before they die.

I'm content with the small rural kentucky existence for now but I Alaska or the midwest is where the white man goes to pass away.
