Post some NOPE from your country. Something spooky or dangerous to avoid

Pic is Jacob's Well. 37m down and then tubes to underground aquifers. 8 people have died from it

There's a massive shitton of caves with a vast variety in Norway. Wonder why spelunking isn't more common and popular here.
>>
>>53890912
Wouldn't be such a bad way to die, honestly

Sure beats Norway's worm-tunnels or whatever

>>53891287
Sorry Norway, I'm not trying to insult your caves. In many respects they are very spooky and fit the thread's theme. But w/r/t how would you want to die, I pick falling off the air bridge face first into a beautiful French mountainside over some watery crypt every time.

Okay boys, I'm out.

SCP-087 is an unlit platform staircase. Stairs descend on a 38 degree angle for 13 steps before reaching a semicircular platform of approximately 3 meters in diameter. Descent direction rotates 180 degrees at each platform. The design of SCP-087 limits subjects to a visual range of approximately 1.5 flights. A light source is required for any subjects exploring SCP-087, as there are no lighting fixtures or windows present. Lighting sources brighter than 75 watts have shown to be ineffective, as SCP-087 seems to absorb excess light.

I agree it's just that I don't know much about truly spooky stories and places in France so this was the most nope thing I could think of
Well actually now that I think of it the uncharted catacombs of Paris are pretty hardcore pic related

Went up there last summer, though I pussied out and didn't stand on the rock itself because of the ice and snow. Same reason I took the advice not to climb the Trolltunga. Kind of a bummer since I won't be coming back to Norway anytime soon but hey, at least I'm not dead I suppose.

I doubt it the people roaming the forbidden parts of the catacombs (a.k.a 99.5 % of it) are either urban explorers or the kind of people you wouldn't want to meet in a dark alley.
Tons of stories of weird murders, rapes, rituals etc, and even more spookiest sculptures
The regular parts are awesome tho

Sydney Quarantine station
Where all the new immigrants went to either live, and enter Australia, or catch smallpox and die. It's a similar setup to a concentration camp. Very spoopy, hundreds of deaths have been recorded up until it closed on the 60's.
You can do ghost tours at night, which I hear are full of spoops.
