Eh the laws have mostly been the same, although on 14 July they passed a new bill that says that police can basically stop you anywhere and force you into giving them your urine sample, and you can't really say no because if you decline their offer to go through testing you get guaranteed jail time, 5 to 15 days, also the same penalty applies when they find drugs in your system or in your pockets (only small amounts)

It was especially fun to do at theme parks me and my friends would smoke one together and then go on the rides.

When I'm out fishing on the local ponds or I'm out on them in my canoe of course I smoke. But it's just common courtesy to not be blatantly smoking it in front of everyone. It's decriminalized in my state but you technically can't smoke it outside. Nobody ever gets in trouble for it but again, it's common courtesy to do it out of sight.
