Can someone explain to me why this is supposedly a popular beer? Everytime I try it, it takes like skunk shit. Heineken is another dogshit beer. Grolsch 'Herfstbok' & Hertog Jan 'Karakter' are ones you should definitely find there.
Grand Prestige (or 'Karakter' if you can't find that one) is a dark beer that is absolutely great for the winter months.
Grolsch 'Herfstbok' is actually more an autumn beer, but if your winter is as warm as ours, still very drinkable. It's a bockbeer, meaning it is a fairly dark beer with some caramel flavor
There are some more obscure ones like Jopen but they're fairly unknown even here.
