basically i was playing observe from 769, and the byzantine empire got fucking disbanded. when I started playing it was just reformed, having only constantinople, in ~836 I think. the emperor also had like -4000 prestige, and was constantly losing piety. He was also Armenian.
now I'm his grandson, because his kids died of illness, and his last direct heir got fucking murdered by his wife.
In Europe all of Charlemagne's son's kids started marrying muslims, so the karlings are all brown now. They're still Christian tho.

I literally only played with Bulgaria for several months. Every small mistake that resulted in me ceding territory was followed by a full restart and another attempt. After something like ~25 attempts, I learned every single step I needed to take with Bulgaria to conquer Europe. The campaign I posted has me annexing Russia, because I was lucky enough to also get a PU and integrate them. How do you do that shit with Bulgaria tho?
What I used to do is split my rivals by 3 groups : Europe, East and Muslims. They were usually rivals between themselves too. What happens here is that every time you get AE against one side, you get close to none against the others. If you blob hard into Anatolia you will get 0 AE against the Golden Horde and Europe. The only thing I did to secure my safety from Europe is to ally all my relevant close neighbors - Poland, Hungary, Austria and Naples. You get 0 AE against your allies. Then, after I was big enough to land an army to beat everyone around me, I simply started diploannexing (creating a vassal, feeding him territories, making his spend ADM to core them, then annexing it). You can see that from all the growing miniblobs and then suddenly having them turn into me. Another thing I did was waiting for a state with a lot of cores to disappear, then taking one of their cores and releasing it as a vassal, then proceeding to reclaim all its territory for almost no AE. And another thing, when you get coalitioned by everyone, declare war on a single-state country, that way you get 100% against the coalition when you occupy it (or at least used to a year ago)
So that's basically how you blob with Bulgaria, throw in a bit of RNG and luck and you might as well do what I did plus China. I needed 30 more years and I would've integrated Scandinavia, Africa and the UK, and possibly puppeted China

I have a lof of fun playing National Napoleonic France in this mod. I'm kind of stuck in a statu-quo though. French commune collapsed and I was only able to reclaim south of France before German restored French Kingdom in the north.
At the beginning I decided to go for east and make a second and sucessfull Egypt campaign so my Napoleon can restore his dynasty prestige.
I didn't stop and thought It was a good idea to achieve Alexander the great dream. Then I came back in Europe by taking commie south of Italy and then the war broke between Germany and the Commune. Communard were more busy fighting their brothers in Marseille instead of fighting the Reich.
I'm thinking about invading Romania, Poland, etc. To gain more power but I still feel like in a war against German Empire is near impossible to win. I would loose on every front (Asia, Africa, Europe) and I'm not sure I would achieve anything meaningfull even if I concentrated all my forces on just one front.
