the whole idea of superior "culture" is fucking retarded to begin with. I mean no matter what we're going to be memed because we're posting under a US flag but the point I'm making holds true. Literally every country has culture and to claim we don't is fucking absurd.

Well, to be fair, some of their houses are older than our country.
They've had a lot of time to be proud of their selves and invent things.
We have a long and proud history of sifting through things that people bring here from other places, and mixing the major parts together to make our own version of their stuff.
When that doesn't work, we make stuff up, and they use ours.
Its all just stuff...

Nobody can make the claim that the US doesn't have a distinct culture - it absolutely does. It is, however, fundamentally different from the sort of more or less ethnically homogenous cultures that most European nations have. It's not really a huge distinction, especially considering how influential American culture is worldwide, but it does baffle me how Americans on /int/ seem to actually go beyond the memes and legitimately take pride in being "white" when that has close to nothing to do with how the rest of the world sees America.
The ONE defining characteristic of the USA is the concept of a melting pot of cultures and races. The melding of all those different aspects is exactly what American culture is, so it really confuses me how a lot of the time you see posts like "America would be great if it wasn't for all the shitskins" etc. Don't play pretend like you're some aryan nation held down by the white man's burden. Your culture is so universally revered because it isn't homogenous. It's influential because it covers a lot more ground than any other culture. Stop acting like you're an European country with too many non-europeans, it's embarassing.

That's one of the few stereotypes about the US that is absolutely untrue. Don't worry, most people are influenced by your culture, knowingly or not.
