You talk as we are not aware of this. I did write probably two days ago, or even yesterday, what an average Croat perceives when he gets into the "immigration" conversation.
It's young girls, mothers/children from the Middle East. Hard working Chinese to help us in manual labour, Japanese/Koreans to advise our government and make our industries efficient, Germans/French/Brits who want to live here and have a contributing degree in natural sciences and we have a special boner for Germans slash civil engineers (because whatever the German builds is quality), Eastern Europeans (and especially Ukrainian and Russian girls), throw in Scandinavians for their praised "socialist model". If any of western European nations told us: Accept, say, 50,000 of our people, we would do it without hesitation. French, British, German, Dutch, Belgian, Scandinavian, hell, even Austrian and Slovene. The government wants solutions now, they believe a pro-natality approach will take too much money and too much time and we're already dropping really, really, fast
We don't think of Turks, Somalis and such, though our people were ready to accept the quota of 300 Syrians (but they chanted "GER-MA-NY, GER-MA-NY!") so that's that
