in my experience from the kebab I've eaten in europe, doner has generally more veggies. greek gyros basically has tomatos, onions, fries and some sauce (mostly tzatziki), while doner has all sorts of shit like carrots, lettuce etc. I think there is something different with the seasoning. also something's up with the meat. doner is more lean and tender while gyros is crispier and fatter
the pita is different, in greece it's greasier, chiewer and kinda puffier, while the doner I've eaten have generally softer and drier pita.
they do taste different, but the idea is basically the same. I like doner more tbqh

The meat's usually spiced differently. I have nothing against gyros, but kebab's are the absolute shit. Whenever I'm in Europe or Central Asia I fucking destroy my body with dozens of these things. So good.

While in poland, me and my friend once made an abomination like that.
We went to a pizzeria, ordered a medium pie, then brought it to our favorite kebab place. We asked the owners how much it would cost to load the pizza up with kebab meat and sauce. They gave us a weird look, but obliged.
After it was done, we rolled it up, cut it in half and ate half each. I felt so fucking sick that night, but it was completely worth it.

UK, but the only good fish and chips are outside of city centres and therefore are never open past about 8pm, so not really drunk food. Plus if you eat them more than once a week you will gain about 400kg in a month.
