>>53347717
It's not haven it's Hafen. Like port cux or cux habour.
>>53347761
Shit it's haven but I'm pretty sure it mean port in that dialect.
>>53347810
What does "cux" mean in german?
>>53347994
It's a compliment used to refer to those who are exceptionally tolerant.
>>53347994
>Der Name Cuxhaven geht auf das Wort koog zurück, eine niederdeutsche und skandinavische Bezeichnung für eingedeichtes Land
land with dikes around it
>>53347717
Havin a giggle m8?
>>53347994
Nothing, it's a High Germanisation of an archaic Low German/Dutch word.

Can any of you guys tell me about two small towns called Lamstedt and Isensee.
I found Lamstedt it's coat of arms has what looks like a megalithic rock structure on it but there is nothing on Isensee
>>53348389
>land with dykes around it
who would've thunk?
>>53348675
>Isensee
>>53348756
That's what it says on records m8, no clue what it is
>>53348836
From what I've found so far it says it is near Luneberg, Cuxhaven
>>53348675
>Lamstedt
Tiny agglomeration of cucksheds, apparently it caught fire a lot hundreds of years ago. Lel.
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lamstedt#cite_note-4
>Isensee
just a handful of cuckshed, infact it's only a part of a tiny town and not even a real town
https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osten_%28Oste%29
apparently the oldest transport bridge of Germany is there (not in Isensee, but 5m next to it by the other 5 houses)
Whats strange is that both have a subsection "tales and legends". Apparently that's normal around there or something.

Pretty neat, thanks for the info
